Terms of Service | NYVSA

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or submitting a certification, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

The NYVSA program is open to students in grades 6-12. Applicants certify that all information provided is accurate and complete. False or misleading submissions may result in permanent disqualification from the program.

3. No Fees

National Youth Volunteer Service Award does not charge any fee to students, families, or organizations for certification, evaluation, or recognition. This policy will never change.

4. Accuracy of Submissions

By submitting a certification, you confirm that all hours are genuine unpaid volunteer service, that they have not been previously counted toward another award program, and that the supervising contact is an authorized, non-related adult.

5. Public Recognition

Award recipients at the Service Recognition level and above may have their name listed on the NYVSA website. Recipients at the Service Excellence and Rising Leader levels may also have a photo displayed. By accepting these awards, you consent to this recognition.

6. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

7. Changes

NYVSA may update these terms with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
